Eagle Sales & Supply was founded in 1996 by Chris and Tina Borden in Livingston, Texas. While serving as full-time pastors of a local church, Chris and Tina were inspired to start a fastener company as a side business to complement their ministry.
Their two sons, Chip and Sheldon, played an integral role in those early days, spending their summers counting and bagging nuts, bolts, and washers for Chris to sell. Thanks to the support of loyal customers and trusted vendors, Eagle Sales & Supply not only flourished but also helped fund the boys’ college education. Both graduated with business degrees from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, equipped with the knowledge and vision to take the company to new heights.
In 2008, Chip and Sheldon transitioned the side business into a full-time operation. Their dedication to building a name for the company in both the community and the fastener industry laid the foundation for lasting success. By 2017, Chip felt called to follow in his parents’ footsteps, stepping into full-time ministry alongside his wife to pastor a church in Willis, Texas. This shift left the leadership of the company in Sheldon’s capable hands.
Under Sheldon’s guidance, and with a talented, dedicated team, Eagle Sales & Supply has grown from a small local business to a reputable company serving national and international clients. Operating out of Livingston and now our expanded office and warehouse in Conroe, Texas, we remain committed to excellence in both our products and relationships. Through it all, our core values have remained the same. We’re more than just a fastener company. Our company is a vessel for God’s work and a reflection of our family’s faith and values.
